Oral History:

Oral histories are a valuable tool for preserving history through personal narrative. The voices of the folks who lived, raised families, worked the land, and started businesses that established the foundation for what we enjoy today are priceless treasures to be preserved.

Listen to the voice of  lifelong Hood County resident Milton Molder being interviewed by his granddaughter Haley Martin. From his earliest memories through his school years, military service in Alaska during the Korean War and as a paratrooper, how he met and married wife Mildred and their life together raising children while he worked at the General Dynamics plant in Fort Worth, Milton relates his memories in vivid detail.
