Abel N. (Abe) Nutt (b. June 25, 1839 – d. Jan. 3, 1880) one of the four Nutt brothers married Indiana Rylee (b. Oct. 18, 1844 – d. May 1, 1886). Abe was a farmer and operated a ferry across the Brazos in the vicinity of the current housing development known as Abe’s Landing, north of Granbury.
